DOTA,the abbreviation of the defence of the ancients,has carried many young teenagers` passion and dream for almost a decade .However,even the sun goes down,DOTA is no exception,too.

Back to nine years ago,the mainstream culture was occupied by War 3 in Chinese E-sports industry.DOTA was just like a drop in the ocean among the role-played game.What is interesting is that DOTA was accepted and became popular in China because of Dynasty Warriors,a game copied from it.At the same year ,the creator Guinsoo abandoned and IceFrog undertook the subsequent modification .It is amazing that IceFrog keep on updating the maps to maintain the balance for ten years till now even the game can not bring him a coin .He is actually a persevering and low-key person .

During the ten years,tens of thousands of teams were established competing for the bonus in big races or little tournaments and numerous super players emerged ,such as Vigoss ,Loda,Kuroky,Merlini,Yamateh,Misery,Pis,820 and so on.All of them have their own adept hero,but they have something in common-sharp operation and consciousness.Unfortunately,Chinese E-sports industry was not so mature that unfair competition appeared and some rich clubs` boss even spent much money poaching excellent players from other clubs which worsen the competition environment and resulted in their weak competitiveness,like N.V.,I.G,S.T and etc.

In a personal way,DOTA is not only a game to me but also an unforgettable memory that contains lots of time spending with my fraternal friends and my middle school period.When I first came to contact with DOTA,it was so hard for me to control the roles,buy items and understand why I should do this instead of that .It may sounds ridiculous but it`s true.Now,you can call me a actually veteran.I know every hero`s skill,reasonable item build ,seen-it-all awareness and I even know how to show others by exposing a obvious fault that wont cause my death but the opposite result .I love DOTA as I love my brothers.However ,in spite of this ,I cant find the familiar excitement and happiness appeared in my middle school period when I played DOTA.I come to realize that it is not because DOTA changes,it is just the time for me to abandon it .I need to achieve something that are more important.I need to fight for better academic performance and spend more time with my college friends ,my family and so on.Now I am clearly aware of that life is not all about games.Someday in the near future I must give up DOTA as I give up depending on my parents when I grow up.
