高级英语修辞手法Oxymoron
Oxymoron(矛盾修辞法) A figure of speech in which apparent contradictory terms are combined to produce an epigrammatic effect. It is formed by the conjoining of two contrasting, contradictory or incongruous terms. Used to disclose the inner contradictions of one thing and to describe psychological activities. Eg. 1. There was an audible stillness in which the common voice sounded strange. 2. What has happened was a normal aberration(过失).
