____ Term of School Year 201____--201____ Daily Grade Recording Regulations and Forms

Daily grade regulations aim at strengthening teaching process management, boosting students’interest in English learning and improving teaching effects.

1.Postgraduate students’final grade consists of 2 parts: daily grade and exam marks, and

accounts for 30% and 70% of the total respectively.

2.Students’daily grade(100 in total) is given by the teacher of the class, and consists of

grade in 3 aspects: attendance(30%), homework(40%) and in-class performance(30%).

3.In the part of attendance, the total grade is 30. If students ask for a leave, they should

provide certificate of hospitals or of their schools, otherwise it’ll be recorded as absence.

Students who are absent for one period will lose 1 point, and if up to 12 periods and more, they will be unqualified to attend the final exam.

4.In the part of homework, the total grade is 40. Teachers should check students’ homework

at least 5 times. If students do not hand in or finish homework one time, two times or three times, they will lose 5, 15 or 30 points, and if up to 4 times and more, they will get 0 in the part of homework.

5.In the part of in-class performance, the total grade is 30. It’s given based on their

comprehensive performance in class, e.g. whether they are concentrated, active in class activities or answering questions.

6.Teachers should carefully record students’daily performance. At the first class of each

term, this regulation will be read aloud to the whole class, and at the end of each term, each student’ daily grade will be read in class by the teacher. In case of any dispute, the record will be used as evidence.

7.At the end of each term, Teachers should hand in daily grade recording forms to
