内容提要:本文介绍了5呼啸山庄6在批评界的遭际,主要分析这部小说在19世纪被冷落、20世纪受重视的原因,认为此种情况与小说表现的非理性主义有关。5呼啸山庄6表现的爱情建立在同一性而非互补性基础之上,男主人公复仇之凶残也达到令人发指的地步。小说一男一女、一外一内的叙事策略有利于充分表现小说的主题,而小说家使用的特异叙事方式也对表现主题起到了特殊作用。

Abstract:ThearticlesummarizesthepastcriticalevaluationsofWutheringHeights,analyzesthereasonswhyitwasneglectedinthe19thcenturyandhighlypraisedinthe20thcentury,andpointsoutthatthecircumstanceisrelatedtotheirrationalisminthenove.lThenthenovel.sthemeofloveandrevengeisdiscussed,lovebeingbasedoncongruenceinsteadofcomplementari2ties,andrevengebeingextremelycruelandhorrible.Thethemeisbestrepresentedbythenarra2tivestrategy,whichusestwonarrators:onemaleandoutsidethestory,theotherfemaleandin2sidethestory,andthespecialnarrativemethodemployedbythenovelistalsocontributesmuchtothegoodrepresentationofthetheme.
