Abstract:In1980,the99citieswithnationalhistoricalweremadepublicbytheStateCouncil.Recently,Itistakingwayandmannertoprotectthosecities.ThedifficultyisthehistoricalculturalelementsanddevelopingitsXiπisfamoushistoricalculturalcityintheworld.Thisar2ticleisideasforthosefamouscitieswhichshouldtakeonsustainablede2velopment.itshouldbeovercomethatconflictsandsolvingtheproblemsincitydevelop2ment.So,theprimaryproblemofprotectingXiπan,thefamoushistoricalculturalcity,isacompre2hensivestrategy.Thentheprotectingdistrictsaredividedwiththelocallaw.Thearchitecturesaroundthosehistoricalorculturalsitesshouldbecoordinatewiththatenvironmentinscale,style,colorortheculturalenvironment.Fortheusingthosehistorical2culturalelements,thesitesintheoldinnercityshouldbelinedintoatouristway.Lastly,authorgivestheideasthatthesustainableprotection,stra2tegicdevelopment,programmingandarrangement,designingofcityandsoon,shouldbeconsideredandplannedasawhole.WhilewearedevelopingthesocialeconomyofXiπancity,weshouldpromotetheprotectionandinheritanceofhistoricandculturalheritage.

　　提　要:保护历史文化名城已为人们所普遍关注,可持续发展理念是处理发展与保护过程中矛盾的基本手段,为克服城市诸多矛盾与问题提供了基本的思路。文章分析了西安历史文化名城保护中的主要问题,指出西安应从城市的发展战略、规划布局、城市设计等方面统筹历史文化名城的保护,综合协调城市社会经济发展和历史文化遗产保护的关系,现代城市建设有机承继城市的历史文化精神。

西安是久负盛名的世界文化古都,中国首批历史文化名城之一。城市空间急骤外拓和旧城更新成为城市建设并行不悖的动向,保存与更新、继承与发扬成为建设的必然矛盾。如何使传统文化的精髓融入城市未来的图景,构成城市未来文化的要素,是中国加入WTO后还需不断地研究与探索的问题之一。
